Bold stance by Studioarc

A legal practice and an advertising agency are both settling into their Glasgow offices after redesigns by fledgling Scottish design consultancy Studioarc.

The Leith-based group has given solicitor Henderson Boyd Jackson WS and the new ad agency, called The Glasgow Agency, contemporary treatments.

The Glasgow Agency’s offices cover 150m2. The 25 000 budget went on creating a space with “simplicity and serenity”, says Studioarc managing director Duncan Baikie. Bespoke furniture was designed for the boardroom, reception and offices.

At Henderson Boyd Jackson WS, Studioarc had a budget of 21 000 to design 225m2 in what Baikie terms “a bold stance against conventional commercial interiors”.

Independent structures are installed, based on an interpretation of the firm’s corporate identity.

Gyrographic has been appointed to handle the corporate literature, direct marketing campaigns and European advertising for the launch of Encore Computer’s storage computing technology system, Infinity.
