Axiom Design has created a marketing and PR division, Axiom Partners, reflecting the trend for design consultancies to become multidisciplinary businesses.
Consultancies that offer their clients marketing consultancy or experiential design services are best placed to benefit from the downturn in advertising spend, according to industry pundits (DW 2 February).
Axiom Partners will work predominantly in the financial sector, initially with its parent’s existing clients, such as Lehman Brothers, George Wimpy, English Heritage and the Ramblers Association.
According to Axiom Partners partner Suzanne Richards, the move reflects the demands by its existing clients for a wider portfolio of services. Axiom Design managing director Sarah Dobinson adds: “This is a logical expansion of our capabilities.”
