Mobile phone retailer In Touch Cellular has a new customer brochure for in-store and mailing use, designed by The Four Hundred.

The Crafts Council has released its 1996-1997 annual report, designed by Pentagram. The black and white document features descriptions of methods used by craft workers. Art director John Rushworth and designer Sandy Suffield at Pentagram worked on the project using pictures by photographer Lee Funnell. ‘We wanted to show the raw materials becoming the end objects,’ says Suffield. The report aims to highlight the ‘alchemy’ inherent in craft work.

Promotional literature for the launch of the Lloyds TSB Bank in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man has been designed by Brandmark OTL.

New York company Sage Asset Management has launched the Sage Opportunity Fund with an identity by Berni Design of Greenwich, Connecticut.

The in-house design team at Coventry University, Creative Design Studio, has designed an international students’ welcome pack, which will go out to overseas students. The studio also designed the university’s annual review.

Lake District group Corporate Visual Communications has created an interactive brochure on CD-ROM for Best Western Appleby Manor Hotel in Cumbria.

The ChildLine annual report and Schools Pack has been designed by Hill Rae Smith Graphics. The East Sussex consultancy also handled the Money Advice Trust’s 1997 annual report.

A range of hot drinks in cans is due to be launched in Manchester by Brooke Bond later this month. Graphics were by Unlimited in London. A team of specialists at Crown Cork & Seal’s Corporate Technologies Centre and CarnaudMetalbox Food UK joined forces with Brooke Bond technologists to develop a special can for the project. Five drinks have been developed, including PG Tips tea, Red Mountain coffee and Choky, a leading French hot chocolate brand.
