Rawls & Co gears up CarLand

CarLand, a new company aiming to change the way used cars are traded, opened its first outlet at West Thurrock shopping centre this week. Brand identity and interiors have been developed by retail specialist Rawls & Co.

CarLand features 300 displayed cars, with a further 200 available. They are priced like shop products, with no negotiation available. All vehicles are guaranteed.

Rawls & Co has developed a supermarket-style environment for the venture, which plans to be trading from ten sites by the end of the year. Features such as CartoonLand, a children’s area with videogames, and a caf are included. There are also touch-screen consoles for CarSelector, a selection system which allows customers to trace cars by type, manufacturer or price.
