London 2012 losers aren’t winning any new fans

Am I the only Design Week reader bored rigid of consultancies harping on about NOT winning the London 2012 competition?

Their attempts to bag two column inches of publicity reek of desperation; they sound like bad losers.

Yes, I did enter (I am a freelance based in Essex) and enjoyed the challenge of the brief. No, I have not included my entry for publication with this letter.

Instead, I’d like to direct interested readers to www.nash design.com (the website for design consultancy John Nash and Friends), which is collating a gallery of entrants so we can all be judged by the widest possible audience.

Congratulations to John Nash and Friends for taking the initiative to do something positive with all the negative publicity surrounding the London 2012 project.

It’s also a very clever way of getting hits on its site, which I also applaud.
