National Trust puts food on the Agenda

The National Trust is piloting an initiative to serve food authentic to the era of each of its historic houses.

Agenda Design Associates has been appointed to design visual communications such as menus, tickets, point-of-sale material and signs for the trial site, Polesden Lacey in Surrey.

“If a historic house is from the late seventeenth century, it will try and offer café and restaurant food from the same era,” says a spokeswoman for Agenda Design Associates.

If the trial is successful the charity could roll out the initiative to as many as 140 Trust properties across the UK.
