Millennium guideline

Guidelines for the year 2000’s Millennium Exhibition are published this week, researched by the Millennium Commission’s consultant Ove Arup and Partners. Its aim is to ‘give the commission a list of sites which satisfy certain criteria’, according to commission chief executive Jennifer Page.

The shortlist will be agreed by the end of June, and up to six locations may participate in a competitive appraisal process. Designers are expected to come forward as part of the commission’s organisational structure for the exhibition (DW 19 May).
