Emulsion to brush up new salon chain

A new chain of unisex beauty salons is being planned for London, with interior design and art direction by Emulsion. The first two Iomi branches are due to pilot in the West End or City by the end of the year.

Conceived as a drop-in, one-stop-shop, the outlets will aim to amalgamate health spas and nail bars, offering manicures and facials, according to Emulsion co-founder Yen Yen Teh.

Emulsion will be collaborating with a yet-to-be-chosen group on Iomi’s graphics. The interiors will be modern and tactile, rather than traditional magnolia, Teh adds.
