If you envy the jet-setting life of high fliers such as Simon Waterfall, this might make you think again.

Deep Group’s colourful creative head boarded a plane for Thailand last week, only to be kicked off, along with other passengers, because of a problem with the windows.

Another plane was wheeled in and prepared for take off. But having set off at speed down the runway, the plane suddenly ground to a halt. There was a problem with the wings, passengers were told.

Six hours late, a trembling Waterfall finally made it into the skies. But it shows the high life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be – even if the planes are.
