Charlie Davidson designs

Charlie Davidson has designed a table light, the Felix lighter (pictured), which will be available in selected retail outlets from the summer. Available in semi-transparent plastic and vitrified ceramic, the light is composed of 20 white LED’s fitted into the rim of a ‘floating’ dish. Davidson says he was inspired by the ‘translucency and textural qualities of porcelain’. ‘It’s a modern take on ceramics with the soft shapes of the piece echoing porcelain qualities,’ he adds.
