Dyson confirmed king of suckers as he pays over odds

If you’ve got a spare £20m, you might consider making an offer on James Dyson’s Grade I-listed mansion near Bath.

It’s a ‘relatively modest farmhouse’ set in 93ha of parkland, including two lakes, a private chapel, orangeries and an indoor riding school.

The vacuum magnate liked it so much he paid £15m above the asking price. Small change, we presume, when you’ve moved most of your cost base to China.

Thanks, as ever, to the Sunday Express magazine for this property info.
