Young marketers have no creative idea
Anita Brightley-Hodges, in her letter about talking to clients and not whinging, misses one crucial point (DW 2 October). A large percentage of marketers haven’t got a clue what creative communication is, they can’t even spell it!
They’re cheap child labour put in place during Thatcher’s Greed Revolution when highly paid and highly competent marketing wizards were hoofed from high office through downsizing and they’ve matured into adults with the marketing intellect of a Tellytubby.
Talk to them? They’re always out shopping.
