With title sequences by The Attik, the great seafaring yarn Moby Dick takes to Sky Movies later this month. Designer Richard Morrison’s front- and back-ends and bumpers aim to reinforce the tele-film’s ‘dark, deep and searching’ nature. Morrison has worked with Moby Dick director Franc Roddam in the past – Quadrophenia perhaps stands in starkest contrast to the latest collaboration, which silhouettes a creaking 19th century whaler against a watery sunset. The watery theme is reflected in the ripples that play across the monumental type.
Nutricia is to relaunch its Milupa range of instant baby foods with a new brand identity and brand-positioning created by design consultancy Ziggurat. The relaunch follows consumer research which revealed consumers were indifferent to the brand bought by the company in 1996. The new packaging emphasises nutritional balance and aims to create previously missing emotional pull by using an image of a baby on the pack.
