FM creates seat for Virgin

FM Design has created a reclining seat to be installed at Virgin Cinema’s Premier Screens. The seat has been designed with luxurious cushioning features to provide an armchair-like feel.

“After analysing the different postures adopted during a film, we created a bespoke design which gave greater freedom of movement,” says FM director of design Ben Fether. Virgin’s Birmingham branch was to be fitted with seats this week, while the Ipswich cinema will get them later this month. Premier Screens are 86-seat sub-sections within the cinemas.
