An invitation-only pitch has given Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux’s Zurich office the job of re-branding Swiss Bank Corporation and Union Bank of Switzerland – if their merger goes ahead later this month/early May.

IZ&L will be looking at the new bank’s international identity at all levels.

Manager of corporate communications at UBS Bernhard Eggli says: “We are convinced we have the right partner.” But, he believes the review could involve third party consultants.
