Future dates

Interior design meets fashion and homeware next month as the biannual show Maison & Objet gets under way in Paris from 7-11 September. Exhibitors will display the latest in textiles, glasswork, ceramics and lighting. Documentaries and discussions on design are held each day, featuring Ron Arad, Jonathan Ive, Ross Lovegrove and Alberto Alessi.

The Sappi World Design Convergence takes place in Sandton, Johannesburg from 11-14 September. Hosted by Design South Africa, the convergence incorporates Icograda – the International Council of Graphic Design Associations and IFI – the International Federation of Interior Designers/ Architects.
