This year’s Promax UK conference and awards are to be branded by nascent broadcast branding group Proud Creative (see Profile, page 13).
Under the strapline ‘Beyond the box’, the rethink is a nod to the blurring of media boundaries and the rise of interdisciplinary approaches, says Promax chairman Martin Delamere.
Proud Creative was appointed to create the identity and branding for the annual event, having won a three-way pitch against consultancies Bunch and Practise, at the end of last month.
Proud’s creative director Dan Witchell reveals that the conference guide is to be called Browser, while a viral sting will be sent to delegates via Bluetooth. Proud is working on brand implementation, including posters, signage and invites.
The Promax conference runs from 2-3 November in London.
