Hamley’s website by Nucleus

Toy store Hamley’s is launching an international home shopping website, designed by Nucleus and maintained by its sister company Equire.

The online business aims to build on the heritage of the famous UK brand, by offering a range of exclusive toys for sale, backed by a full customer service facility.

Orders will be dispatched by courier and delivered anywhere in the world within three days. Hamley’s is also offering a free gift wrapping service and money back guarantee. Equire will maintain the fulfilment side of the operation, says Nucleus managing director Peter Matthews.

“Equire will aim to develop a portfolio of premium [online] brands and Nucleus will continue to design and develop all the e-commerce websites,” he says.

Nucleus is also completing similar e-commerce projects for Van Peterson, selling exclusive gold and platinum jewellery online, and for gift shop Links of London.
