Harpin wins Singapore job

Paul Harpin of the Magazine Consultancy has been appointed to redesign eight women’s magazines for Singapore Press Holdings.

As creative director, Harpin will update the English language magazines to take on international competition from publications such as Singapore versions of Elle and Vogue.

`The design education system is different there,’ says Harpin, who was headhunted for the one-year posting, `so I will be involved in training as well.’
