Four-strong design group Juggernaut designed and manufactured the bar, furniture, fixtures and fittings for Zincbar, the new Mean Fiddler bar on London’s Kilburn High Road. Features of the three-floor bar include bespoke furniture, a copper wall and stainless steel letters in the toilets – ‘pre-graffiti’, according to Juggernaut’s Geoff Stewart. The ‘text in the toilet’ is an example of how Juggernaut gives each of its projects a personalised touch, says Stewart.

You may be forgiven for thinking you have stumbled on to an old-style American film set if you pay a visit to Timberland’s second London flagship store in Long Acre, Covent Garden. American furniture designer Michael Perkins has created a white-washed and weathered-wood interior on two floors, enhanced by soft-glow lamps and frosted glass. Checked shirts and boots are the order of the day, and the rugged style of this newly designed interior is geared to complement this.
