Having developed a new identity for technology company Bowthorpe last year, London design consultancy CGI has since rebranded the group as Spirent following a series of major corporate changes. A new chief executive and senior management team, plus a revised strategy, led to the rebranding. It is described by Spirent corporate communications manager Mark Cornelius as: ‘modern, technological, aspirational and [compatible] with our communications test business, as well as with our aerospace software operations’. He adds: ‘The name reflects the spirit of “inspired innovation” which goes to the heart of all our activities.’
