Fear and clothing at Design Week Awards

Someone out there is walking around without her coat on. A woman called Kate, possibly, who may work in PR, left her coat with the award-winning Tucker Clarke-Williams team at the Design Week Awards last Tuesday.

While details of the coat’s owner are sketchy, TC-W was able to give a fuller description of the article itself: ‘Black, teddy-bearish, fraggly scraggly, and looks pretty cheap.’ I’ll get my coat.

Meanwhile, a conversation overheard between two north of England design gents on the stairs going into the dining room at the awards suggests such events are not merely attended in order to wallow in victory. ‘At these things you just try to get work out of drunk clients,’ claim the pair.
