Speciality foods brand Merchant Gourmet has overhauled its brand identity and packaging, with design work by Brewer Riddiford (now BR&Me).

Speciality foods brand Merchant Gourmet has overhauled its brand identity and packaging, with design work by Brewer Riddiford (now BR&Me). The consultancy was appointed to the job a year ago (DW 10 February 2005). The packaging’s blue and gold colourway aims to evoke a sense of ‘everyday premium’ and appeal to ‘foodies’, says Merchant Gourmet retail director Simon Bell.
