Partners pick up PR Week design award

The Partners’ design work for the Design Council’s Project 2045 has been lauded by the public relations industry as winner of the best use of design in the PR Week Awards.

Tor Pettersen & Partners also notched up a success. Its 1995 annual report for Thorn EMI won the best annual report award.

Project 2045 was the council’s attempt to garner a high level of awareness during its relaunch year. A total of 2045 time-capsules were distributed for recipients to predict designs for the year 2045.

Project 2045 is reckoned to have involved 125 000 people – double its target – at a total cost of 132 000.

Design consultancies shortlisted in the awards include Cheshire’s Tucker Clarke-Williams, for its work for both Granada Television and North West Water.
