The streets of London will be crawling with cows next summer as CowParade 2001 hits the capital.

This public art exhibition was started three years ago in Switzerland which is home, presumably, to an abundance of cows. It has since been to Zurich, Chicago and New York, aiming to showcase the talents of local artists.

Life-size fibreglass cows will be decorated by both well-known and local artists, and will be placed around major buildings and attractions. They will be auctioned off for the ChildLine charity after the three-month event next September.

Cowparade.net has all the details and budding bovine artists should get in touch.
