Fishburn Hedges Design is relaunching as FHD as part of a strategy to expand and refocus the business.

Housed within the Fishburn Hedges Group, which specialises in public relations, the consultancy is hoping to raise its profile in the design marketplace, promoting it as distinct from the parent company, according to managing director Adrian Day.

‘To win more external business we need to be seen as a branding consultancy in our own right,’ says Day. FHD plans to expand its corporate branding offer in particular, and add design staff.

Clients include Corus, The Co-operative Bank and Network Rail. Day became managing director a year ago, appointing Robert Soar (pictured) as creative director in May (DW 11 May). Soar was previously creative director at FutureBrand and Enterprise IG.
