Virgin Vie cosmetics store opens

The long-awaited Virgin Vie cosmetics chain has opened for trading, with the first store unveiled in London’s Oxford Street last week.

Featuring “a healthy tension between calm and contemporary”, according to a store spokesman, the retail format was developed by Revolution (DW 20 June). Product packaging and development was co-ordinated by Lyons Associates, formerly Lyons Ames.

The chain plans to open 100 stores over the next five years.
