The London Transport Museum to host poster exhibition

The London Transport Museum is to host an exhibition of posters from the past 100 years of Tube and bus travel, including Clifford and Rosemary Ellis’ 1937 poster, Travels in Space (pictured).A series of events exploring poster design and advertising, including a talk by the daughter of graphic designer Abram Games, will accompany the show. The Art of the Poster: A Century of Design opens at the London Transport Museum, WC2, on 16 October and continues until 31 March 2009.
