Frequenters of trendy bars, clubs and restaurants in London and Manchester will soon be able to sample an alternative toilet experience with the introduction of the Absolut Chilli Pepper toilet seat. Created by co-founders of Bobo design group, Nick Gant and Tanya Dean, the Perspex product was commissioned by Absolut vodka as ‘an iconic contemporary product’. The seat features a colour photographic image of super hot red chillies, which is projected through the Perspex seat, producing the unsettling effect of sitting on hot chillies. Gant describes his creation as one of the consultancy’s ‘hottest’ designs.
