The Beatles Express was unveiled on Wednesday, when one of Eurostar’s 18-carriage trains became a ‘psychedelic collage’ to promote the re-released Yellow Submarine film and album. Created by London group Apple Corps, the design, which is 400m-long, tells the story of the Yellow Submarine through a series of ‘trippy scenes’. Designer and project leader Fiona Andreanelli says, ‘Because of fire regulations we couldn’t just paint the whole train. I had to create decals that were then adhered to the coaches.’
