LDY Eco Graphics unveils directory and signage work for Shian housing association

LDY Eco Graphics associate Ting Lam Tang says Shian is the largest Ghanaian-led housing association in the UK – Shian means ’home’ in the Ghanaian language Ga.

Tang says that LDY Eco Graphics started work with Shian about three months ago, after approaching the company. Shian had recently been rebranded by another consultancy, and Tang says LDY Eco Graphics has strong experience in the housing association sector, having previously worked for clients such as the Spitalfields Housing Association.

Tang says the main focus of the work on the directory ’was to make the information much more accessible to readers’. The consultancy redesigned the directory so that all contact details would be made available on the front cover and introduced a clear contents page, navigation and illustrative line drawings.

The consultancy also aimed to make the project as ecologically sound as possible, Tang says, using digital proofing and aiming to minimise material waste.

The directory will be sent out in the next week, Tang says, while the new signage is due to be installed in the next two or three weeks.
