Sane & Able designs website to be ‘digital showroom’ for printer Onward Display

Onward Display

Sane & Able has designed a new website for printer Onward Display which will act as a digital showroom for the company.

Appointed directly after a recommendation by a third party, the consultancy sought to translate Onward Display’s ’immersive environment’ offer by showing how rooms can be transformed with wall, floor and window vinyl applications or 3D foam interventions, according to Sane & Able director Alan Long.

’Print can be hard to show in a website – especially in Onward Display’s case as [the applications] are so tactile and large-format – so each page you click on has the format of a shop, office, building, home or exhibition space – the same core format, with examples of different graphics,’ says Long.

Images of pop-up graphics including giant bears, brick walls with crumbling plaster, and floor-to-ceiling-height forests with floor-mounted cutouts ’show the possibility of what can be done with any space’, says Long. Each page has examples of cost, sizing and materials.

The site is video-enabled to show the window vinyl application process and finished effect of several case studies.

The site is due to go live in the next two weeks.
