Aquent takes over Pricejamieson

Aquent, the US-based recruitment and staffing giant, has announced its acquisition of UK recruitment consultancy Pricejamieson. The group will retain its name, but will be absorbed into the Aquent global framework.

Pricejamieson managing director Andrew Swift is to stay on in his current position, while his fellow managing director Ann Jamieson is to move into a more client-facing role, according to Aquent.

The group looks set to consider further acquisitions in the UK and has announced its intention to grow its London presence from 80 to 250 staff.

‘Through this type of initiative, Aquent will continue to grow and develop further with the incorporation of exceptional and highly skilled niche businesses throughout the UK and across Europe in the foreseeable future,’ says a statement from Aquent.

Separately, RitaSue Siegal Resources, the Aquent-owned search consultancy based in New York, has announced the appointment of incoming account director Pascale Siouffi, who joins from Renault in Paris, where she was general manager of financial control, planning and design strategy. Immediately prior to joining she completed an assignment with Nissan Design San Diego.
