Dynamo London, the on-line digital community forum, is to host an event examining the future of digital design, taking place in central London on 24 April.

Entitled Not Just Pretty Faces: the Evolution of the Digital Designer, it will be chaired by Design Week editor Lynda Relph-Knight, with speakers including Lateral creative director Simon Crab, Applied Information Group creative director Malcolm Garrett and Orange France Telecom director of design and usability Clive Grinyer.

The event will include discussions on developments and trends in the industry, including how the role of a digital designer is developing beyond its origins in graphic design; issues facing new media businesses; and what educational institutions should do to ensure graduates are well prepared.

The event will be held at the CC Club in London’s Trocadero. Tickets are £25. For more details see www.nmk.co.uk.
