Kemistry is to redesign the Institute of Masters of Wine website and corporate materials.
IMW awarded the consultancy the contract two weeks ago, following a creative, three-way unpaid pitch.
The institute has briefed Kemistry to ‘present a more personal face, highlighting individual IMW members, and emphasise the relevance of their activities in the global wine world. The focus of the overall design should be on the masters of wine themselves’, according to Siobhan Turner, executive director of IMW.
Kemistry managing director Omar Honigh adds, ‘Our challenge is to create an engaging tone of voice. The approach will give IMW a progressive, modern look and feel.’
Although the consultancy has not been briefed to alter the institute’s visual identity, Kemistry will be redesigning its events banners, educational materials and corporate stationery.
The website is scheduled to go live at the beginning of June, with print materials ready for distribution by the end of this summer.
