Start Creative is creating the branding for a citizen engagement programme, after being appointed by the Central Office of Information and Communities and Local Government.
The programme is designed to increase the number of people taking part in local community activities.
London-based Start Creative was awarded the project on 9 March, after winning a competitive three-way pitch that was managed by the COI.
Jen McAleer, managing director at Start Creative, says, ‘We love nothing better than a challenging communications brief. The brief was to create a brand to increase active participation in society, through raising awareness and understanding of the opportunities to get involved in civic activities and local democracy.’
The first phase of the branding will launch this summer, and will be applied across all printed and online communications.
