Ready, steady, colour

You may have been inspired by Sunday’s London Marathon to dust off your trainers and perhaps enter the 2011 race. However, if it seems too much like hard work, why not go for something that’s still themed on running, but is a little more creative and relaxing.

The Sneaker Colouring Book for grown-ups – to be published in May by Laurence King – is a collection of 100 black-and-white line drawings of popular sneaker designs, which you can customise and colour in.

Designers Daniel Jarosch and Henrik Klingel, from Berlin consultancy PKNTS, created the book, which features 18 major brands including Adidas, Converse, Nike and Puma.

Great news for all sneaker fans out there, so below we’ve given you a selection of designs from the book. All you need now is a child’s crayon set – just remember to keep within the lines.

The Sneaker Colouring Book by Daniel Jarosch and Henrik Klingel will be published in May by Laurence King, priced £12.95
