Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi worked alongside David Collins Studio to create a design which the consultancy says reflects the ‘sophistication and elegance’ of the Jimmy Choo product.

Choi says, ‘I wanted our new space to be a luxurious environment that would combine the refined detail of a haute couture salon with the intimacy of a fantasy closet.’

Materials and finishes include satin gold, rosa egeo pink marble and mink-coloured velvets, oyster stone and a mother of pearl chevron pattern floor.

Woven mesh in metallic tones and spherical glass pendants help give the space allure, according to the consultancy.

Mainline and fashion collections are presented on spot-lit feature walls in the new store.

The Beverly Hills store is expected to open on Monday along with the new Jimmy Choo Made to Order custom service, which is presented in store in ‘cabinets of curiosity and Art Deco steamer trunks’, according to David Collins Studio.

The new store concept will be rolled out to global stores including London New Bond Street – which is expected to launch in August – as well as Vienna, Las Vegas, Dallas, Toronto, Macau and Tokyo.
