For the Longitude Punk’d exhibition, nine artists were commissioned to create works inspired by the technical inventions presented to the Board of Longitude between 1714 and 1828.

They responded with installations such as a crashed time-travelling airship, which will stand in the Meridian Courtyard, opulant apparel inspired by the night sky and outlandish contraptions purporting to solve the longitude problem.
