Clothes retailer Gap opens the doors to its flagship Regent Street store in London today, featuring a remodelled look by Dalziel & Pow.

The revamped design has already been trialled at Gap in Brent Cross Shopping Centre in north London and is to be rolled out to the West End store today.

At the other UK stores, Gap’s traditional shopfront and interiors will remain.

As part of the new look at Brent Cross, the Gap logo rises from floor to ceiling at the shopfront, which is open-fronted.

It is understood this will be the same in the London flagship. Womenswear, menswear and children and babywear will be separated, while each section will offer a different look to the traditional stores.

‘Regent Street is the next step in testing the new Gap store model that was launched in Brent Cross this spring, with some elements tailored to complement the store size and layout,’ says a spokeswoman for the retailer.
