Design consultancy Navyblue is creating a new role of director of creative strategy.
Patrick Baglee – currently executive creative director at direct marketing, data and digital specialist EHS Brann – will take up the newly created role in October. He will form part of an expanding board at Navyblue, working as part of the consultancy’s Brand Ignition team.
Baglee says, ‘The role itself is quite diverse, in the sense that what I’ll be doing will be based in London, but will have influence across the group.’ Navyblue’s other offices are in Edinburgh and Budapest.
He adds, ‘At Navy Blue, in the Brand Ignition team I’ll be engaging with and inspiring brands, to help it find a way of facing the challenges it comes across in the market place.’
Baglee suggests that at EHS Brann, much of his work is focused on customers, but at Navyblue he will be ‘looking forward to spending more time with the clients, where the Brand Ignition team is about the customer and the client’.
Although Baglee says it’s too early to reveal what he will be working on, he hints, ‘To begin with, it will be more to do with opportunities there that already exist’.
