Kemistry to rebrand Hungarian TV channels

Hungarian television channel Story TV4 has appointed Kemistry to design new branding ahead of its relaunch next month.

The channel is set to split into two stations, called TV4 and Story TV. Kemistry is creating the logos, idents, billboards and websites for both channels.

TV4 will feature general programming aimed at a male and female audience, while Story TV will target women with its gossip and extreme makeover programmes.

‘Hungary has a one of the biggest TV audiences in Europe but it also has a great many channels, so the branding must really stand out,’ says Kemistry managing director Omar Honigh-Csizmadia.

Kemistry has worked with the channel since 2005, and designed its current brand identity. The consultancy also branded Story TV4’s daily chat show Havas in December.

The design group will also create new branding for Story TV4’s programme Lajcsi Szuperbuli next month.

Story TV and TV4 will go live in mid-September.
