Entries sought for Benchmarks Client of the Year

Nominations are invited for Client of the Year as part of the entry to Design Week’s 2009 Benchmarks awards.

All Benchmarks entrants can  propose a client for consideration by the judges. That company or person must have a proven track-record in using good design as an integral part of its business or communications.

The Benchmarks focus on excellence in branding across three or more communication platforms and are organised by market sector. In the past they have focused purely on branding programmes, but this year there will be a a second stream of entries covering branding for campaigns.

Judges for this year’s awards include former Sainsbury’s packaging head Kate Blandford, David Delaney of HSBC, former Interbrand UK chief executive Rune Gustafson, Dilys Maltby of Circus, D&AD chief executive Tim O’Kennedy, Michael Walton, head of trading at the Transport Museum, and Moving Brands co-founder Ben Wolstenholme.

The closing date for entries is Friday 28 August. For full details and to enter, visit www.benchmarkawards.co.uk.
