Mass Designers works on neighbourhood restaurant

East London consultancy Mass Designers is creating the interiors for restaurant Charlotte’s Place’s new Chiswick branch.

The consultancy was appointed in April following a three-way credentials pitch, according to principal Clinton Pritchard.

Pritchard says the aim of the new branch will be to develop the concept of a ‘neighbourhood restaurant’, to follow the success of Charlotte’s Place’s original Ealing branch.

He says, ‘The key elements to the restaurant’s success will be the service and quality – the ambience is the third element in that equation.

‘Therefore the interiors will need to be simple, clean, restrained and neutral, in order to support the service and quality.’

Mass Designers is currently working on the restaurant’s physical concept, and aiming for a late autumn/early winter opening.
