Vivid London bags US branding work

Vivid London has been appointed by US company Mind Reign – an academic social media, research and e-commerce site – in a branding project worth several hundred thousand pounds to the consultancy.

Winning the business from a three-way competitive pitch, Vivid London offered a creative and strategic proposal that will see it design an identity, marketing collateral and advertising for the brand.

The consultancy is following a brief to make Mind Reign ‘an academic outreach for discussion and information access’, according to Vivid London senior partner Neil Evans.

The site, which allows users to follow breaking news and academic topics, is trying to improve its international appeal. Targeting students, graduates and intellectuals, the service offers discussion platforms and an online bookstore.

The consultancy’s work will be designed to instruct expansion into Europe, a new market for the Washington DC-based brand.

Evans, who is leading market research on the project, says, ‘We’re working with one or two academic institutions.’

The new identity will launch in September and the roll-out will complete in October.
