I love Truth
At Design Week, we don’t normally cover consultancy’s birthdays (we’d be blowing candles out every week) but this one is special as American design legend Milton Glaser has created a limited-edition poster in celebration of design group Truth’s fourth anniversary.
The New York-based graphic designer is renowned for the iconic I Love New York logo among other outstanding pieces of work and accolades, including the National Medal of Arts presented by President Barrack Obama.
Undeterred by Glaser’s legendary status, long-term admirer Truth creative director Darren Scott invited the 81 year-old to collaborate. And luckily for them, he was impressed by the cheeky request and agreed in return for a donation to his nominated charity.
The illustration poster, revealed this month, marks the four years since trading began in 2006. And the design group sounded pretty chuffed with the results, declaring that the team are ‘jump-in-the-air, over-the-top, happy-as-Larry’. Let the party commence!
