Top of the league

The Design Bridge team has topped the Design Week football league for Spring 2010, seeing off strong challenges from the Winkreative and JKR selections.

Design Bridge clinched the title with 36 points, after winning 12 out of their 14 games. William Hodges bagged 31 goals during the team’s triumphant run.

The consultancy says, ‘The caged arena at Paddington saw football at its most physical at times, with regular glimpses of magic from star players Mike Stride and Phil Robinson. All in all it was a team effort that brought the coveted Design Week trophy to Clerkenwell for the first time.’

Design Bridge is now hoping to defend its title in the Design Week summer league, which has just kicked off. However, Real Portland and FC Cartils are already providing a strong challenge.
