Pavilion of Art & Design London announces 2011 lineup

A total of 57 galleries from 11 countries will display works at the 2011 Pavilion of Art and Design London, which takes place in October.

Galleries including US-based Luxembourg & Dayan, which is opening a London space in October, and David Gill Galleries, which will show works by Fredrikson Stallard, Mattia Bonetti and others, will be at the event, which takes place in Berkeley Square from 12-16 October.

The Moët Hennessy-PAD London Prize will see a piece of design or decorative art from the fair donated to the Victoria & Albert Museum. Previous donations include work by Friedman Benda and the Carpenters Workshop Gallery and the judges for this years prize include Nigel Coates, Jasper Conran and Tom Dixon.

The fair will also play host to the A Child’s Chari Project II, which will see designers including Zaha Hadid, Fredrikson Stallard and Oriel Harwood customising child’s-size Vitra editions of the Verner Pantone chair, which will be sold to raise money for the NSPCC’s Rebuilding Childhoods Appeal.
