Salvatore Adduci designs new Estrella look for UK market

Beer brand Estrella Damm will introduce a tweaked identity on a re-packaged product to the UK market next week designed by Spanish consultancy Salvatore Adduci.

The Barcelona-based consultancy was unavailable for comment this morning, but a UK spokesman for Estrella says the new ‘Mediterranean bottle’ design is set for a UK roll out across 900 outlets of Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

Salvatore Adduci was been appointed by Estrella Damm brand owner Grupo Damm.

The new 33cl bottle has been designed with a thinner neck and slimmer body  and Estrella Damm says the design accentuates straight lines and that the brand’s signature red is picked up in a new glass tint.

A new label sees tweaks made to the size and positioning of the brand’s gold star mark and lettering and weighting has been re-set.

The new bottle will roll out globally and is heading to all markets except North America according to the Estrella Damm spokesman.
