SAS brings in former Sapient Nitro creative

SAS has appointed former Sapient Nitro associate creative director Chomoi Picho-Owiny as creative director.

Picho-Owiny takes on the new role this week and will work alongside SAS creative directors Thomas Winkelmann and Alastair Baird and executive creative director and SAS founder David Stocks.

A spokeswoman for SAS says Picho-Owiny’s digital background is key as more than half of the consultancy’s work is currently on digital projects. At Sapient Nitro he worked on projects including the world’s first smile-activated ice-cream machine.

James Parsons, joint managing director at SAS, says, ‘[Picho-Owiny] has fantastic credentials and great respect within the industry. His expertise in the digital space and specialist blend of design and technology further strengthen’s SAS’s digital offer.’
